Anyone have any pointers on the installation of (wing) vent window seals. I have the assembly out of the door for paint. Thanks Matt 67RS/SS

I was doing a search and saw your post. I just pulled mine apart to replace seals. Forget about anyone who knows how to do 67 doors. If you got the vent assemblies out you are halfway. Remove the lower vent window nut and spring and stop. Remove the two phillips screws at the front of the seal to chrome. Remove 1 small phillips screw at top of window run seal (Inside rubber hood). Lower the loosened vent window bottom section and remove the vent window post from its hole. You can then remove the vent window by pulling it up. The seal might have rubber clips holding it to the chrome section of the frame. Otherwise it just pulls out of the channel. The re assembly is obvious.
