What do you guys think this one is worth. How would I go about getting it inspected by someone who knows what they are doing? I know this is not an orginal number matching but I cannot afford that right now looking for a good car that I can drive and fix up here and there.

Looks like a nice car with no reserve. Can't help with the inspection in Las Vegas but under inspected in the description it show it has been. Not sure what this covers. Don't think it is a real RS as no backup lights in rear panel.
One thing that is weird about the auction is bidder 3 has had 14 bid retractions in the last 6 months. He is the high bidder. I think I would spend the money and check this one out.

From the e-bay listing:

""The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing.""

This item or one like it has been relisted (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260154397940).

Most of been something seriously wrong with it, it's already been sold and went for $14,495.00. That's really cheap for a 69.

I disagree, that car is a mess. Half ass slapped together to make a buck! Look at the gaps, the drooping fenders, tired small block, front wheels too deep and will most likely rub.... I could go on and on. Imagine what is hiding underneath..

Looks like he ended early, and relisted with a BIN. The seller and buyer probably agreed to a price, and rather than just end early and sell outside eBay, he set up a new auction with BIN.

How do I find out what the gaps are supposed to be. Everyone says look at the gaps, what is the correct gapping? Thanks still looking for my 69.

My instinct is telling me there's more hiding under the pretty paint than meets the eye. I don't think it's worth the $19k buy it now option but if underside looks acceptable (noticed there weren't any pictures of this) and body fitment appears fairly good along with no major paint cracks showing gobs of bondo beneath it would probably be worth $15k if the paint is actually decent. To me, doesn't look like a super detailed resto job (actually looks pretty decent in photos though) but this sounds like may be exactly what your looking for and you won't have to pay the high-dollar. Sorry - can't help with how to evaluate the car sight unseen but others may have some good advice on that aspect.

Agreed the front view is atrocious. from what i see fitment is off on everything, and the RS in the grill is even crooked lol

The gaps between panels should be about 3/16" and uniform. Adjacent panels should line up. Gross misalignment could indicate poor body work, sloppy assembly, or collision damage.

The trunk lid fit looks pretty good, but the both fenders (especially the driver's side) look like there is lots of tweaking left to be done. This car needs to be seen in person to examine what the underlying causes for the what you see in the pictures and, more importantly, to look at what he doesn't show you in the pictures.
