I have a 67 with front disk brakes. I have to change the lug studs to be longer and come through my lug nuts.

How do I get the studs out of the front rotors?

I tapped on them with a nut on the stud and not a budge. So I'm not sure if I need a bigger hammer or there is something else I need.

Use a 1/2" dia. x 6" long aluminum OR brass rod/punch and a 3 pound FT and whack h-ll outta them!!

Oh, and btw, set them on a piece of 3/4" plywood or a piece a 2x12x12....

Then use, I think, latter '70's Malibou studs b/c they are about a 1/4" longer. Get them from a Dealer for like $1.25/each or maybe even less.

I just pulled them in place using my 1/2" ratchet and a lugnut and some washers and oil.

Then lightly whacked them home and seated them again, using my ratchet.

Took all of an hour or so to do both fronts and my two axles.
