I need a set of 67 rear quarter door opening windlace and edge corner caps. When I called Rick's First Generation, the guy told me the repros weren't very good quality.

Anyone have any experiece with the reproduction pieces or, even better, know where a restorable original set might be found?

Rick's is correct. The repos are NOT nearly as good as GM. I just bought some....
I'm thinking of trying some generic type from an uphostery shop. They would almost have to be better.
The repos will work, but just don't have the same look, fit or feel. They look almost like hard foam rubber.

I had a set of repops for my 69. Neither the look or feel was close to the originals. I just kept watching ebay until I found a set that was OK. I never did find a "perfect" set. But the imperfect ones are significantly better than the new repops.
