By the way the nose split, its a fiberglass replica. Aluminum would have caved in, not shattered like that. So it was worth about 40K before, now its worth about 15K

Exactly. The owner was a flippin moron for even thinking about letting her drive, especially after seeing her just back out. How could you not predict the end result of that :sad: .
He got what he deserved, If I had a car in the vicinity I think I would have slapped him silly,they both (driver/owner) put everyone around them in danger.
At least it was a replica.

I agree with the volume that she would and should have been pulled out of that car when she started backing out! It was obvious that she could not drive that car!:sad:

:sad: What an idiot. I told my wife she can drive the camaro until I get the body fixed and new paint, and then is banned from driving. She is ok with that. She said she will just get her own muscle car (chevelle, GTO, etc). :thumbsup: To stick with the theme of the post original cobra's are hitting a million plus kit cars are nearing $50K - $75K but after she got down I would say its probably still worth $20K as a kit. As stated above I don't think its original.

In the video, I don't see anyone going crazy over the car after the crash and no one tried to stop her from leaving before the crash.

He was saying that because she was drunk and he figured something was going to happen. The guy talking on the video didnt have anything to do with her and it wasnt his car.

In the most recent event involving the 1967 Shelby Cobra, the culprit was a mix of alcohol and inability. Also this was the only female (we think) driver involved. Now I am not saying that women cannot be as able drivers as men (don't want to tick off the NASCAR crowd) but clearly this one did not have the skills of the other two drivers. If you watch the video (see link below) you will see that she has trouble getting the car in the right gear or any gear at all. But eventually she got it going forward and peeled out down West Alabama towards a street named (of all things) Hazard! She lost it just shy of that intersection and slammed into a car parked at an auto repair shop on the corner. Fortunately the shop was closed and nobody was in the car (which will be in the shop just a bit longer than its owner anticipated).
