Has anyone ever bought one of the complete glass kits from anyone like Rick's camaros? I have been pricing them and the whole kit is cheaper so I may decide to replace all the glass. I have also read about some of the glass not being as thick as the original ones. Any thoughts??? Thanks...

I purchased my entire tinted kit from autocityclassic. Had a problem with the door glass and they shipped me two new ones right away... I am happy with them

I purchased all the front and rear side glass from Ricks about 4yrs ago and was not impressed with the quality of the edges on the door glass. Very rough and even the contour of the glass was not a real good fit. This may have been just a isolated case but I would look for some original glass in good shape or maybe some of the other members might have other sources.

Call Frank at Prodigy Customs or just log on to the GP forums. They have a great deal on Tinted glass that fit's great.

There's a reason why non-OEM glass is cheap. No aftermarket glass will EVER fit like the original PPG or LOF glass that your car came with. Period! :noway:

Thanks for all the replies, I stopped by a local glass place in Bristol and the front and rear were in the ballpark on prices but the doors a lot higher. I'll check on the places you told me about. The ones I have now are good driver quality but I wanted a better ones. Thanks again...
