I am starting my new 67 vert project and have the body down to the metal and getting ready to replace floors, trunk and quarters. The whole body has been blasted top and bottom.
Can you weld with the Por 15 on the metal or should I finish all the metal work and the Por 15 it? I have never used Por but it sounds like what I am looking for.

Do some searches in respect ot por15. I've heard alot of comments that it doesn't work well on new metal. Another product people refer to is Rust Bullit. I know that doesn't answer your question, just a item you may want to research.

When using POR heed the health warnings! Very toxic allot of isocyanides.

welding through it doesn't work great. Much better if you leave it clean at the weld sites, then coat after welding.

Por likes a rough surface, like what a 3m stripping wheel or 36 grit disk leaves behind.

Epoxy primer will be better on new metal.
