Well I've I got a 94 3.4L V6 that will barely make a mile before the temp gauge hits the 240 range. Any father than that and I'm lookin' at really close redline and wind up cuttin the engine to cool down. The fan wont turn on I've swaped the relay and got no change. Now a few days ago it had a slight problem overheating problem but that was just a matter of filling the radiator up. It get a little hot but once I hit the interstate everything was a gravy and the gauge would drop to its normal running temp of about 180. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

try replacing the fan switch,it is a sending unit for the fan basiclly to turn it on at a certain temp (approx 220)
