The goal:
All 4 wheels & tires the same size, so I can rotate 'em, with no or very little rubbing at all. Totally stock ride height/springs, etc on my '67.
Looking for 235/60-15 tires.
Weld wheels series 96 (star) 15x8, but they have 3 part numbers. 1 I know is not correct, so its down to 2 choices.
Part # 96-58278 15x8, 0 offset w/4.5 backside

or

Part # 96-58280 15x8, 25 offset w/5.5 backside

Am I correct with using the 0 offset one, since this is only a 235/60?

4.5" yes...5.5" NO

You need a 7" with the 4.5 b.s on the front unless it sits high or you do wheel well mods. Sorry, the rotate method won't work on a 67 unless you want a skinny out back. Don't go there.

a p235-60r-15 with 8 inch rim dont work in front.it is half inch away from fender when turning with no one in car.if you decided on bf goodrich tires the p215-60r-15 or p225-60r-15 and p205-60r-15 are on back order. for when bf got a great demand for them. they will do a run of them. till then 3 weeks - 1 year wait.i opted to go to cooper cobra radial t/a
