i think what you suggested would look really good, maybe even a 255/60/15 on the rear, but it might be to big , if i could do my car over again i would want to do the plain ralleys and 245's in the back and 225's in the front....or if i had a milliondollars i would like a nice set of 17's or 18's with coil overs and Etc.:beers:

You can fit a 255 with the right b/s, I wouldn't do it on a 7" rim though a 255 on a 8" wheel is as wide as I would take it before the tire looks like it "bubbles" over the wheel. 245 would look good on that wheel, I see that width alot on Camaros with rally wheels.

With 15x7 all around. The 245/60/15 rear and 225/60/15 front will look good. I have 255/60/15 on 15x8 rally on rear and 225/60/15 on 15x7 rally on front. with 4 inch b.s. and no rubbing. I have 15x7 Crager SS's on my '67. 245-60-15 rear, 215-60-15 front. Looks real good to me, no rubbing issues at all.

I have 15x9 on the rear of mine with 255 60R15's. The rims are deep dish I do not know the back spacing- they came with the car. The tires rub if there is a harsh bump.

my rims are 15X8, do you think it would look good with 225/60/15 on all 4. most companies have a very limited supply of 15 inch tires. thanks david

i have a 68- my aim was to fill the wells as much as possible -and use a wide tire in the back- the result was exactly what i looked for- accomplished by using 235/60 for the front and 255/60 rear. the only difference is with the rear rim size- i have 15x7 front and 15x8 rear- so find out what people think of using the 255 on 7" rim.

:hurray:I have a 68 and have on the rear 295/50-15 on the original 7" rims doesn't rub and fills the wheel well on the Frt I run a 215/60. They say you can't run this tire size on a 7" rim I have had them on for 8 years but only 4000 mi. and a few runs at strip at 126 with no issues

You may want to consider going 215 vs. 225 up front. I have the 225/60s and the drivers side very slightly rubs the fender when turning all the way to the left. It's odd though cause it only did that after I swapped spindles while converting to discs. I guess this changed geometry slightly. My opinion is that a Camaro needs something much wider than 225/60 in the rear but if your looking for a more stock appearance then would be fine.

275's out back on 15x7's w/ 1-1/4" drop, 235's up front w/ global west small block springs in a big block car. The fronts rub on the outside on every bump. No problems on the rear. I need to switch the fronts to 215's probably.

I have BFG 25560R15's on the rear mounted on 15x7 Torque Thrust II's with no rubbing plus no air shocks. The front has 21560R15 BFG's on the same wheel.
