I am trying to pull the heater core cover & blower unit from a 67 parts car & put it in a 69 camaro.
I have all the bolts out,but it is looking like I will have to pull the passenger fender to get it out.
Is this for real... or am I missing something?

Can you unbolt the inner fender and move it? The engine side heater cover is held on by screws out under the fender, as shown in this photo. The screw holes are at 7 and 1 o'clock around the fan hole, and require a contortionist to reach.

i FOUND THAT OUT...i MUST HAVE BEEN MISSING THE BOTTOM BOLT,BUT IT TOOK ABOUT A HALF AN HOUR TO GET THE TOP ONE OFF!
i WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WHEN iT DIDN'T COME OUT AFTER ALL THAT.
sO THE ONLY WAY IS TO REMOVE THE INNER FENDER?:(

Do you have the five nuts off the interior heater box?

Yes...
They were easy to get to.There isnt enough clearance between the blower(fan) & the inner fender to pull it out.
I was hopeing for some easy trick with out haveing to pull the inner fender.
Is there any tricks ...or will I have to pull the fender?

When I removed mine years ago, 69 with factory a/c. I tried everything imaginable, I finally had to remove the fender. The housing was completely unbolted and it would not come out. I wish I would have just removed the fender to start with. It would have been much easier. Maybe it would have come out if engine was not in car. I wasn't about to pull the engine. I was tempted to cut housing in 1/2 with a sawzall but, I didn't.

Just for giggles, I checked my 69 Chassis Service Manual, and to remove the blower assembly, it says:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable
2. Disconnect hoses, wiring, etc. at fender skirt
3. Remove wheel opening trim if so equipped
4. Remove rocker panel molding
5. Loosen rear lower fender to body bolt
6. Remove the 9 rearmost fender skirt attaching screws
7. Pull out on lower edge of fender at rear edge of wheelhouse, pull downward on skirt and place a 2x4 block of wood (about 6 inches long) between the fender and skirt
8. Remove the blower to case attaching screws and remove blower assembly. Pry the flange gently if the sealer acts as an adhesive

I've seen this approach posted here before, but didn't realize it was how GM said to do it...

Once the blower is out, the case should come out the side into the engine bay.
