Car is somewhere between a survivor car and a restoration as some of it is original and some of it has been redone. 69K original miles. Numbers matching engine. Not sure about the trans and rear end but they are supposed to be matching as well. Original interior (mostly).

Power steering, Muncie 4sp, no air or power brakes.

Non original: spoiler, steering wheel cap, some (or all) of the paint, has headers, no radio (but dash is not cut), rear speaker replaced with 6x9s, etc. Runs and drives good, great oil pressure. Thoughts on value?

25K+ :without seeing it in person to look for other things wrong with other than the obvious ones.

I like it.

That's my guess.

its nice. looks like original granada gold. mine was originally that color. nice console with factory guages also.if you got numbers on tranny and rear we can tell if original and what motor is in it now.

Are you selling? Looks like a nice 67 RS/SS. Gold would not be my first color choice (I'm a Madeira Maroon guy), but its still very nice. My guess would be low $20's on value, only because it looks like it maybe could use a fresh paint job from the pics.

It isn't mine; I am thinking about buying it. It has a true dual exhaust set up differently than the factory set-up and the body tag says it originally had a vinyl top.

It runs and drives pretty well. I think you are probably right on the paint. It looks good, but not excellent. An older repaint probably.

A separate thread going on this on the tag team section, but here it is, appears to be the original engine....

nice car i would buy it for 20 grand.but that rust spot on back quarter to sail panel i would be in trunk too see how far and bad in that part.that would kill 20000 to down price alot. may need rear quarter tail panel and than paint. thats about 10 grand if you dont do it yourself.

Good point about the rust spot. I couldn't find any problems in the trunk. However, that should get some attention to prevent it from becoming a problem.

So, I am hearing 20 to 25 grand; does that sound about right?

I'd say if I were to go 20K on that car it would be max. The rust at the top of the quarter is not good. You can take it down and repaint that spot but you'll never get old paint to match the new and it will be expensive to try to.

I'll look again but the car doesn't appear to have what I would consider worrisome rust issues. It likely has had one repaint already, so the whole car would probably get new paint.

But even then I see your point from a cost perspective; a new repaint ain't cheap.

That 69 in your link looks goooood.

Seeing the rust issues that I didn't see in the original post, I'd lower my above guess to 25k being max.

Its good to get feedback. I forgot to mention as well that the windshield is cracked. About the same estimate if the tranny and rear end are original? I need to check that.

Whats the suffix code of the assembly stamp? The photo stops with the M. Original engine and numbers matching are two different things to most of us hardcore #'s guys.

Nice color. I'm so sick of red Camaros!

Not mine yet.....trying to get a good grip on the actual value. I agree though, it looks to be in nice shape.

$25K if you put the correct center caps on it! :)
