American Autowire proudly welcomes the newest addition to our team: Mr. Lance Packard.
Bellmawr, NJ, August 29, 2007: American Autowire is the premier automotive electrical manufacturer for Street Rod, Muscle and Classic Cars and proudly welcomes the newest member of our ever-growing talent pool - Mr. Lance Packard.
Lance began his career working for Vintage Air, a Texas-based automotive aftermarket air-conditioning manufacturer. For four years he progressively increased his responsibilities in manufacturing and production alongside of his parents who are administrative and sales managers there. In that time, Lance learned and applied his experience to present effective product training seminars. It was this combination of hands-on training and the ability to clearly communicate the benefits of products that led him into retail management.
For the next 2 years, as Store Manager, Lance coached a team of 8 sales employees and was able to increase sales dramatically. Lance’s passion for cars drew him to an opportunity to further improve his base of experience at Painless Performance.
At Painless, Lance spent a brief period back in production before he took a management role overseeing the Technical Support Call Center for the next 18 months. His technical skills culminated in developing and marketing the Perfect Engine Management System that sold over $250,000 in its first year. He acted as the Technical Trainer for Painless’ Dealer and Exhibition Seminars educating and advising the community in over 30 seminars every year. Lance was appointed Media Liaison functioned as the communications specialist for all major industry events attending most of the NSRA and Good-Guys shows, Hot Rod Power Tour and SEMA. He has also been seen on such television programs as Rides, Wrecks to Riches, and Overhaulin’. As a prominent member of SEMA’s Young Executives Network, as a Select Committee Member and slated to become Chairman in 2009, Lance is promoting the future of our industry.
Personally, Lance has worked on project cars including a modified Ford ’66 Mustang, ’37 Ford Cabriolet, modified ’68 Camaro, ’33 Ford 2-door sedan, and working on Painless’ LS Camino project for the 2007 Hot Rod Power Tour.
