Stone...Im going to tell everyone. Stainless Steel is where its at. It doesnt rust, and it doesnt corrode. The only thing it does do is crack in extreme freezing temperatures. The downside is that it is about 50% heavier than other metals. So if you have the money. Dont mind tacking on a few hundred pounds from all the stainless parts out there. Its well worth the money. Just think of stainless as a lifetime warranty. With the downside of weight.

You are correct in that sometimes they leak at the connections. I had a tough time getting mine to seal at the master cylinder. I ended up wrapping a piece of teflon tape between the tube and the fitting - hasn't leaked in two years.

Kevin's got it in the bag. I had to wrap some teflon tape around my conections so it would not seap. Some folks told me not to use teflon tape, I don't know why but it solved my problem.

Stone;

If you have a problem with sealing on stainless steel (tapered) fittings, you can get soft brass "cone" washers from Earls.

It's not an uncommmon problem.
