What is the best way to remove under coating? I have scraped a lot of cars but would like to know if there is an easier way.

You can just do a search on this subject. It has been discussed many times before.
Everything from uses fire to disel fuel.

Do a search here on this. Personally I didn't want to use chemicals/fuel/strippers so I bought a Wagner heat gun. I set it on 1000 degrees and within seconds the undercoating peeling away like turning pages in a book! And I only used a 3 inch scraper. Then I just wire-wheeled everything to clean it up. It worked great for me!
Just remember not to hold it in one place for more than a few seconds or it'll turn the undercoating into a gooey mess.

Good luck!

I went for spraying diesel on the undercoating and letting it sit for 24 hours. The wife was pretty happy that the garage and the kids clothes by the washer all ended up smelling like fuel. That went over like a fart in church. If I had to do it again I'd use a hot steam cleaner and more elbow grease. The diesel was filthy and overwhelming even with good ventilation.

69 - great post, like a fart in church!! haha. I thought if I ever needed to do this, I would spray the diesel, not after your post and the thoughts about the wife and kids and the whole house smelling. Give me the heat gun.
