Hard to verify if "#'s matching" when you don't get to see the #'s.

It looks great, but appears you will need to contact the seller for the drivetrain & tag numbers and determine if he has any DOCUMENTATION. Charlie 69 RS

I dig the car !! Should have a vinyl top but I like it without... the ZL2 aircleaner seal on inside out but at least that is an easy fix

Nice looking car, but:

Tic-toc-tac in a '69 is a rare feature. The cowl tag shows 727, that is standard ivory interior, not what's in it now. The VIN has an extra number listed. As already stated doc's are a must for a big money VN Z. Lots of unknowns at this point.

Original black vinyl top, original standard ivory interior, what color would the original Z stripes have been?

This car and my car were built very close to the same time, this one a little earlier than mine. The "internal plant code" looks like it's M002, mines M459.

Don't spend the big bucks without paperwork.

Code is H002. I agree with no pics of the numbers, hard to verify. Some things are cosmetically wrong. The interior is not the same as what's on the tag. Looks decent. sits kinda low...

Lemans Blue with Black top, I'd say black stripes.

"E" is for Parchment (white) vinyl top. I think he just up graded the interior to a more desirable white interior.

I like the color combo.

No tic-toc-tac in 1969. The seller is mistaken:beers:

Wow, guess I'd better wear my glasses when I look at these cowl tags!! An E looks like a B, an H looks like an M. Man this getting old stuff...........

Gary, I was throwing out a little sarcasm about the tic-toc-tac being a rare feature in a '69 :)

Enjoy!!

I was too. I wonder if he has any docs for the 63K original miles. Might be fun for you to drive down and see it this weekend. I have not seen any for sale that close to me.
