67FamilyFun Sep 4th, 07, 02:05 PM $1,000,000...there see, you got a great deal! Don't give it a second thought.
XLexusTech Sep 4th, 07, 04:18 PM Just want to make sure I dont start trowing money away. So come on guys help me out Please...
68RS-SS Sep 4th, 07, 05:03 PM I'll take a stab - my guess is: $11,500 The pluses are definitely the mech. mods but the original 6 banger and the incomplete body work doesn't help the overall cause.

Valid point
XLexusTech Sep 5th, 07, 11:08 AM Valid point
Here is what I can tell you and also what makes your point valid.
I already checked the 1/4's and they are clean. doors I checked from the ouside and looked form the inside and they look good as well. Right fender is new. Left I planned on replacing anyway.
The areas that Are unknown and validate your concerns are around the front and rear windows and Dash and cowl.
However my plan is to have a driving project for a few yrs. Once all the updates are in place E.g Brakes steering suspension ect.. And I get the bug to redo it. I will tare it down to bare bones and do all of the body work that needs to be done.
Thats my plan for now @ least.
Joe Harrison Sep 5th, 07, 12:43 PM I paid $500.00 for this. These are pictures of it after i got her home and cleaned her up some.

joe clance Sep 5th, 07, 12:52 PM i almost bought a running 67 w/ 17'tt2's and a shiney orange paint job last weekend. 350 /4 speed/ 10 bolt rear and ok interior. he was asking $11, 500 as it sat. I had a body man take a close look at it and determined there was "too much iceing in the cake". although it was solid underneath, redoing/replacing can become costly. if i wanted to race it, its fine as she sits, however, if i want to fix the body, rockers, inner panels, i was in for another $8-10K depending how much is gone and has to be replaced and re-done. bottom line, he said its a $7k car if you want to fix it. I really did'nt want the car after that. I recently finished a 69 that cost $8k to finish and was not interested in repeating. Yours looks to be in much better shape than what i was looking at last weekend. good luck

Unreal Sep 6th, 07, 09:56 AM Did you buy it in 1990?
XLexusTech Sep 6th, 07, 01:27 PM Did you buy it in 1990?
No a few months ago. Yes I know the pipes and wheels are hidious. I think that is one of the reasons I got it so cheap
Mark Rossiter Sep 6th, 07, 06:51 PM From what I can tell, the dogs look pleased also! Hope they don't like to chew stuff.:)
