I used the Cat bulldozer paint on my truck frame today. Right out of the can into the gun with no thinners. Sprayed great, layed great, dried great. If this stuff stays as tough as it is now, I may try to cut the sheen off and use it instead of flat enamel for my black primer look on the body of the truck. Cheap too!!

Thanks for the feedback 57plymouth. I've been following this topic with some interest. How tough is the Cat paint compared to por15? It's certainly a lot cheaper!

It is not a rust covering paint. You must get the rust off before painting with the Cat paint unlike Por which is designed to work better with rust. It seems to be just as tough as Por , but I have only had it on the frame for one day, while I have had Por on the Plymouth for over a year. I did get off the old rust with a sandblaster, and this is the underside of a daily driver project.
