I was wondering if anyone knows if there is an issue with running 15 x 7s in the rear and 14 x 7 in the front on my 68. My dad says this is what was done in his day. I wanted to run 255 60 15 in the back (that is my front tire now) and 225 60 14 in the front. We have some old 200s American Racing rims (coke bottles) in this configuration. We think it would look good and be safe but we are not sure. Currently the suspension is all stock, with plans to install disc breaks and lowered spindels in the future.
Thanks in advance for your help

I did the 14 - 15 thing back in the day, with 245's in front and L60's in back!
no problem other than the then fashionable fibergalss flares in the back to cover those L60's!

I currently run 16" in front, 17" in back, I like to get my rake with tire.

The only thing I'd caution you on is to make sure the front wheels will provide clearance for the future disk brakes.
