Does any of the old hands here remember motion installing a pontiac style with "chevrolet" moniker hood tach on any of their cars?. I remember that in their chevrolet phase III tune up book they have a picture,full frontal, of a 69 Z-28 RS with what looks like a hood tach installed. I also remember seeing the front and case in the High Performance Cars 1970 yearbook. It looked good. Does anyone else have any recovered memories (pc speak) of the hood tach?

yes Motion used the Pontiac hood tach on some cars.
Motion cars were normally built to customer order so if they wanted a hood tach then Motion installed one.
They may have put a Chevrolet decal over the Pontiac name.
