I just did a auto to manual swap and my old automatic cooler lines to the radiator are no longer needed. Is there any reason I cant use the radiator as a fuel cooler now that the automatic cooler lines are gone?

Eric Kammerer Sep 5th, 07, 12:02 PM Ditto what John said! The transmission fluid "cooler" built into the rad is a relative thing; it's designed to dissipate heat in the fluid to make the trans fluid cooler than the trans operating temp. It is not a chiller... DOUG G Sep 5th, 07, 03:34 PM 180* + fuel temp ... Can we say vapor lock. fatblock Sep 5th, 07, 06:44 PM :noway::noway::noway: DOUG G Sep 6th, 07, 02:54 PM Also think about this... As you heat a flamable liquid it becomes easier to ignight . Look up "flashpoint". zdld17 Sep 7th, 07, 03:49 PM Ambient temp Vs. Engine temp. Not rocket science. |
