Will a 1" carb spacer plate below a 750 Holley and on top of an Edelbrock RPM air gap manifold clear the hood?

Also how much will this move the powerband?

Get a 1" thick piece of wood and stick it under your carb.
You'll know better than us then. :thumbsup:

Well, I would even use an old carb spacer I have on another manifold, but, the hood is off. I am still putting the finishing touches on the motor

Vic Jr w/ Holley 750dp and a drop base cleaner is about as tight as I would go. Cowl hood extra 2" ?

I think the Vic Jr and AirGap are the same height ?
