tl757 Mar 20th, 01, 11:57 AM Im preping my 69 right now so i can put in the engine. The whole engine area is balck right now and when i srap away there is nothing underneither so..should it be black? The whole engine compartment. Is POr15 a good thing to use to coat the engine compartment? Any pictures of your engine areas preferably with the engine out but any will be a big help i want to have it look good and look original MStarmer Mar 21st, 01, 02:58 PM I don't know anything about original but most people seem to think the flat or semi flat krylon is a good match. I don't personally care if it is original or not, I just want my car protected. If I can coat something with POR-15 then I will coat it! In the hard to reach places inside the car I'm using Eastwood's Corroless Rust Stabilizer. I am determined to keep the rust at bay!
