Well i finally got a timing chain cover. Been asking for pics for long time and now i have one for myself. Went and looked at a restored original l78 and the cover is identical.
The one i bought is never been on a engine before. It's still got the GM sticker on it from 1971 from GM parts dept. If someone can tell me how to add a picture i will gladly do it.
A note too. I matched this up against a Z-28 8 inch timing tab and is very close to same. The replacement weld on tab for this could pass on your car.
