I have a 69 Camaro that I did a frame off restoration on a couple of years ago. I put some ceramic headers on it at that time. I have the original exhaust manifolds from the 350 (original) engine. What are these worth? The car was a 4bbl car with th350, p/s and a/c.
Thanks,
Mike

If they were off a 4 speed car you would be happy.
But sorry to tell you A-trans manifolds are barely worth the freight cost to ship them.
Or, at least it used to be like that.

Jeff,
What's the difference between manifolds for auto and manual?
Mike,
Why not hold onto them in case you decide to revert back to "factory" on your numbers engine.

Yes - keep them with the car for the next owners.
All 4 speed cars had smog in 69....
Which would also make them correct for the Z/28's.

Ok. Thanks. I'll keep them.

Oh, I thought all 69 s/b had smog, and only the b/b was non-smog for automatic.

I believe in 68/69 all BB had smog.
but only the SB manual trans cars did.

Only exception would be California delivered cars ??

I have a Ca delivered 69 327 auto Camaro with no smog. I don't think it was any different for Ca. in 69.

Yes - 1968-69, California was the same as all the other 49 states.
Automatic Transmission small blocks and L6's did not get the A.I.R.

What about the LM1?

What about the LM1?

Without checking the actual verified data over at CRG...
I seem to recall that the LM1 is a Small block V8? ;)

In 68/69, Automatic Transmission Small Blocks and L6's did not get the A.I.R.
This applies only to domestically delivered units.

All 1969 Camaro big blocks had smog. All 1969 Camaro small blocks with manual transmission had smog. 1969 Camaro small blocks with automatic transmissions didnt have smog.

So is the only difference between the auto and manual exhaust manifolds the smog ports?

Thats one difference. I think the other would be how the sheetmetal rivets (?) to the auto trans one for the heat riser pipe. They have different casting numbers.

You got it Scott, they both dump in the same places and and are the shapes with the exceptions of the smog ports! Hey just incase anyone might read this that may have it, I could sure use a good used set of big block exhaust manifold smog (A.I.R.) tubes-both sides if you have them please contact me, I know they repo them but I have a surviver car I want to try and keep from using as much repo stuff on as possible if you know what I mean, Thx...........
