my wife's, sister's husband has a 69 corvette thats been stored away in his barn for 23 years. the vette is a 350 /w auto with 28,000 miles but it hasnt been started or driven in 23 years. its all original. the last time i saw it was about 5 years ago and the body looked decent but dirty/dusty. i know you cant tell me much without pics, but what would you guess at its worth?

I can make a guess but it wouldn't be worth anything. The car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. That said why are you looking at buying it? Resale? restore? both.

The corvette market has been soft and depending on the condition of the car and your level of restoration, you will probably spend more than you will get back. What kind of options does it have? colors? a lot of things can determine the value but you can probably start between $4500 - 5000 and go from there if its all in there and can be driven home.

you'll still need a lot of work from sitting but you may be closer to $9500 - 10000.00 but this is all speculation. POst some pictures and give some more info.

I can modestly say I have done one too many of these cars and got burnt out hence the name and presents on a Camaro board.

thanks corvettemaster, im just looking to see its worth, not interested in it. he told me a price that he wants for it but i think he's way way to high. i dont have any pics of the car, or the options. ill try to talk to him tomarrow about the details. thanks again.
