Sure kicking myself in the a** for cheaping out and buying reproduction wheel opening moldings instead of GM parts. Do these outfits even see if they fit before they sell them to us. Just about every part has to be tweaked of reworked to fit. Just had to vent.

From my past experiences... I would have to say "Nope, they don't check 'em". :rolleyes:

I have posted a quote of my buddies here many times. He said after trying a part for his '65 Vette many years ago "If they wanted to be honest, instead of the exactly like original they would put SIMILAR to original, can be used if nothing else is available " I think that is about the most profound thing I have ever heard about repro parts. graemlins/sad.gif
