What up? I have a problem , I would like to get some personal opinions on what you would do for a radio. Where it mounts in the dash someone had cut the knob holes up. They didnt cut the whole thing out but did hack it up. Is there anything I can do to still put a two knob radio in it ? Or am I looking at cutting it up the rest of the way for a cd player. Any suggestions would be great:hurray:

Your options are to get a new dash carrier, smooth current mess with a dremel and use some kind of adapter plate or combination of washers, brackets, etc, (it's hard to say without seeing a picture of the damage), or completely hollow it out for an in dash CD player. My dash carrier was trashed and I picked up one in good condition on craigslist for $50. They usually go for $200-$300. I was considering using the rosewood cover pieces for the stereo and glueing those in place to see if they would work, but the hack job was too extensive. My preference is original or original in appearance and have the CD player in the glove box. But if your going custom, knock yourself out!
