So just to lay it out thier one of the tihngs in my life that I truely enjoy are my dogs. We raise and train Labradoodles. We have 5. they are breed for seeing-eye dogs for folks that are alergic to dog dander. Anyway...
So my wife is a Nanny. she runs into this little 7 YO girl and her Mom frequently.
Turns out the girl had to put down her dog recently but she promices that she is going to get a new one when her Daddy feels better... After meeing up with this littel girl and her mom around town my Wife develops a friendship. Well after a tough battle the Dad passed away at the young age 0f 37 of cancer....
OK here is where th good stuff starts... My wife being active in the dog world posts on one of the breeder boards the story. Turns out a breeder form NC jumped @ the chance to donate a puppy. As fate would have it the generous breeder also lost her Dad to cancer @ the same age of 7.

The breeder is so happy to be able to help this little girl and is convinced that this is why God got her into breeding. So far we have A vet donating the puppy checkup and so folks offering some gas Money for the Trip to get the puppy (15 hrs each way) Anyway I am just so proud of my little lady and I hope this can make aomeone here regain thier faith in humanity

Good story. I wish more stories like this made it on the news and we got less coverage of everything negative. Thanks for sharing.

Update. The wife Drove 20 hrs this weekend to N.C, and back to pick up the puppy from the Breeder.
He stayed with us Sunday and Monday and was delivered to the Little Girl, her Brother and Mom today. It was hard to see him go but it felt real good to do.
Any way just wanted to send an update and hopefully make some folks smile.

Here is a pic of him
