I just noticed one of the headliner bows dropped , its the first one about 10" from the windshield. It came off right in the center where the plastic clip is. I just put this new headliner in last year and I was careful not to crack the plastic clip even soaking it in hot water before installing it and snapping the bow into it. So any suggestions on how to start this fix ? How much should I take apart to get at the clip ? Can I re-glue the headliner with any success ?

Have you tried just snapping it back in? If you have to take it down, it shouldn't be too hard and should glue back up OK. Depending on what glue you used.

I think if the clip is broken that you could take the headliner loose from either the drivers or passenger side and reach in and replace the clip.You may have to take one end of the bow out of its hole to give you enough sag to get you arm in far enough to remove the clip.
