oil gauge go all the way up when car is runing
try to look for sending unit can t find it

Chris, what kind of car and gauge? Most sending units are located on back of block to the right of dist looking at it from the front. Here are 2 pics, 1 manual sending unit (original gauges with oil tube to gauge) and 1 electric (this is an AutoMeter sending unit).

My sending unit is very similar to Dennis' I have mine at a 90.

Summit has a set of all electric gauges for $99. The appearance is very good. You just have to live with "Summit" imprinted on the face of the gauges.

I think the sender on your car is just above the oil filter and looks nothing like the one in the pic here. It is black plastic with a weatherpack type connector and 3 wire (If memeory serves me correct)

it looks like a black pipe about 2 3/4 inches long and has a oval connector on it...dont remember if its by the filter or the dist tho...
