I am looking for detailed instructions on replacing the dash pad for a 69 camaro.

There not too hard to do. Just take your time.
Remove the 2 screws on the side of dash (1 on each side)
Remove 4 screws by dash bezel. (2 by speedo, 2 by fuel or tach)
It's alot easier to remove the glove box cardboard inner liner to get to the remaining nuts. There are 4 nuts you need to remove that are located from the center of the pad by the heater controls to the right side astro vent . If you remove the carboard liner you will be able to see them if you get your head under there. Here's a pic below of what I'm talking about.
Once you get everything loose, pull forward on the pad and then up. This removes the hold-down clamps on top of the pad.
Here are the 4 bolts that will have nuts you need to remove.

Here is a pic of the 2 screw positions by the tach or fuel gauge (indentation on pad). You will also have 2 by the speedo. You can also see what the hold down clips look like. There are 6 evenly spaced the entire pad.
