Can anyone tell me if the standard 6 cylinder Heater box on the firewall will clear a Big Block (502) when fitted. :confused: I dont plan to use the Heater anyway and will be discarding the hoses. I will use the correct BB GM Frame mounts

I think the I6 box is the same as sb. It's not the box that is the interference problem, it's the hose. bb is the same shape as sb, but the hose spuds come out of the center of the box on bb. You can buy repro bracket to convert a sb to bb. remember to put a piece of foam over the original heater hose hole, or you'll get engine fumes inside the car. Heat, too I suppose.
