the spelling is actually "Schukei".
they no longer operate in Waterloo, but do continue to have a Chevrolet dealership in Mason City, Iowa.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"MASON CITY-In the car business in Iowa since 1932, the Schukei family is continuing a legacy of quality automobiles and expert, customer-service based sales.
So it is not surprising that the Schukei Dealership was awarded three categories for the “Best of the Best” 2004 Survey results.
Voted “Best Automotive Dealer,” “Best Place to Buy a New Vehicle,” and “Best Place to Purchase an SUV,” Schukei Chevrolet is humbled to be acknowledged for all three categories.
“It is an honor to think the people here in North Iowa and Southern Minnesota do think of us in such high regard,” Don O’Connor said. “To win three of the categories is very unique and quite an honor for all of us here at Schukei Chevrolet.”
“We spend a lot of time and effort to make sure everyone is taken care of the way we would like to be taken care of,” he added.
O’Connor credited the company as a whole, saying, “The employees had a great deal of influence. We just have a top notch group of people working here as a team.”
The Schukei journey began with Clarence H. Schukei, a traveling mechanic moving from town to town to repair what few cars there actually were on the road in the 1920’s. In 1932 he established a Ford Dealership in Mason City. He moved to Waterloo and established a Chevrolet store there, too. During those years he oversaw a U.S. Championship Softball team that won the nation’s title in 1935.
Robert Schukei was born in Mason City, and following a brief military career, began working with his father at the Waterloo Dealership. In 1964 Robert branched out on his own and purchased Pritchard Motor Company, to which he added Lincoln and Mercury to both Ford franchises. In 1967 he designed and built the South Monroe facility.
Steven Schukei was around automobiles all of his life. Following graduation from the University of Iowa, he joined his father, and in 1980 became manager of the newly formed Schukei Chevrolet. Ten years later he started First Credit, which has grown over the years to the largest private finance company in North Iowa.
Today, Robert serves as Chairman of the Board, and Steven is the President of the Corporation. Schukei Chevrolet has over fifty employees, with annual sales in excess of twenty million dollars."
