I have a '69 RS that came with drum brakes, mono leaf rear springs, and a 10 bolt rearend. I have the rear out of the car for a rebuild and modifications. I have installed a 4 wheel disc brake kit from CPP. I have a swap kit Energy Suspensions with poly bushings, pads, etc... to change from mono leafs to multi leafs.
My question is: Will I have to change my shock plates for a multi leaf system or can I use my mono leaf plates? I have already purchased KYB adjustable gas shocks for multi leafs. The instructions in the swap kit tells me to use the mono leaf plates but after reading several different posts on here, I have concerns the shocks won't clear the rear disc calipers.
Has anyone else done this type swap? Can anyone tell me if what I have will work?
Any help will be appreciated as I need to get this together asap as I will be having knee replacement surgery in a couple of weeks and need to get this fixed before then.

Thanks!

I have a 9" in my ('67) with discs and Hotchkiss 3-leaf. My stock (mono leaf) shock location works fine.

Remember that one will fit towards the front and the other towards the rear, just opposite the shock staggers and you will be fine.
