Almost time to decide for a colour, I know it's kind of a long shot, but since I plan to keep the car original I thought it would by worth a try to ask you guys.
The paint codes for Yutivos has been lost long ago, so I can not go from the paint code on the trim tag which is 24.4036. I have to go by the clues we find as we strip the car, it is clear that the car was somekind of light blueish and since it is a 67 that leaves me with three options (with US trimtag paint codes):
1. Nantucket Blue code D
2. Marina Blue code F
3. Emerald Turquoise code K
The car will have 797 Parchment (white) interior installed again as when it left the Yutivo factory back in March 1967.

We only found the original colour some places inside the car and under the fenders and cowl vent.
Does anybody have pictures of stripped cars in either of the above mentioned colour, then please email them to me.

Here are a few shots of my dissassembled Yutivo:

Since it is very light blue I am leaning towards it being Nantucket blue originally.

Looks like nantucket blue inside the dash. Thats pretty cool having a camaro from the Phillipines, are there many still around in that country?

I posted my question on the CRG forum also, and they came to the same conclusion as you - namely that the car must have been Nantucket Blue originally.

There are still plenty of Yutivo Camaros around here, most of them have been modified to V8's. We don't see many with the original drive train still in place.

You can see more Yutivos on my web:

And how about this cool ad:

Claus, interesting stuff on your web page. If the Yutivo Camaros didn't come with a USA type radio, what kind of radio did they have. Do the radio stations in the Phillipines have different frequencies or what?

Thanks for the interest.
All that is known is that the radios were dealer installed for tax purposes.
The white 67 on my webpage has a vintage radio that might be an original dealer installed, but as of now there is not enough evidence to prove that fact. The dealer installed radios could also have been the US types, I don't know yet. I have not seen any other Yutivos with radios still in place.
I dont think there was a difference in frequincies, even back then and even on the AM band.

I will try to post pictures of the radio.

:thumbsup:the frequincies look the same. Looks different being installed where the heater/AC controls go. If we get a antique stereo guy to check it out I bet they could take one look and tell you where it came from.

Yutivos were heater delete, but still the radio should have been in the radio position.
Maybe this one was a "radio delete" and dealer or somebody installed the radio in the heater delete plate.

Soon the rarest Camaro around will be an original drive train 6 cylinder :D
