Hey Guys, need some help...My buddy did a guy a favor and painted his car this weekend. He used Dupont Chromo color. The car was prepted very well, but during the process dust particles were left in the paint (this was done in a garage with no down draft) the floor were wet down. My friend is an excellant painter, but this was his first BC/CC job (he does powder coating for a living) How do we get the dust particles out ? or can they come out ? wet sand and buff ? help guys !!!!

If it has dust in the clear, you can wetsand it out with 2000 grit and then buff it.

It you can see the raised dust particles they will come out when it is color sanded unless they are big chunks of dirt. Those may reach all the way to the base coat and the only thing that you can do is attempt to mask their presence when you color sand. Been there, done that. Good Luck.
