Anyone use a p/s ragjoint from Ground Up. Recieved mine and both bolts are the same size. I know they should be two different diameters. Called them and they told me they sells dozens a week and never had anyone complain. Can I use the old bolts from my non-p/s ragjoint.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't swap the old bolts in there.

I don't know what's up with Grd Up, but the 1st gen Camaros do indeed, have 2 different sized bolts. Go back and look at my RJ thread and you'll see the pic someone posted that clearly illustrates the 2 different sized bolts. I believe the shoulders are the same, but the dia. of threads is not.

This picture might help explain things:

I don't know if this is relevant or not. But recently some foreign manufactured flexible couplings came on the market. The flange that attaches to the steering gear was incorrectly machined. Look at the above drawing. In this picture the flexible coupling is oriented so that the clamp (pinch) bolt would assemble from the bottom. It would screw into the flange boss where the 3/8-24 thread is called out. Note that the machined flat is on the same side of the flange that the bolt assembles from. The foreign manufactured parts have the flat on the treaded side of the flange. Since the flat in the flex coupling flange must match up to the flat on the gear input shaft, this results in the steering wheel ending upside down.
