Does anyone have any info on this body number and partial vin? Betting it's another fake as he lists all the tag numbers but no pic of the pad stamp and no pic of the tag. New trend??

09C X33 D80 + 19N510636 = a big fat zero. (if I'm not mistaken here.)

09 C would be the third week of September 1968 based on that VIN#. My first 1969 Camaro was a 10D car and VIN # was 124379N530XXX. It did not have an X code.....Note that he does not show a picture of the cowl tag and as most of us here know early built Norwood cars did not have X codes on the cowl/trim tag. :noway:.....I mean why bother with the X33D80 whne it has an early VIN #....With no X code on early Norwood cards and or LA/Van Nuys cars these guys can clone them into anything they want. But X33D80 on a VIN # that early? The seller is really grasping for straws there.
P.S. X Codes did not appear until what? The 2nd week of December in 1968. Hopefully the person that buys this car does their homework.

I would guess the tag was robbed from a Sept 69 car with a 68xxxx VIN based on the build date and body number.

I asked him why the car VIN is a year older than the cowl tag info.
Will see if he posts the question.

Also, if he is in the U.S. why is it going to take him 4 days to ship it to Tacoma WA. for further shipping to the buyer? It appears to have vintage Florida tags, and I definitely see palm trees in the background...
I smell something really crooked here.
