Do you guys know where the hidden VIN # is located on 1970 -1973 Camaro's?

I did a Forum search and it appears it's behind the heater box. Here's the thing: I don't know too many sellers, regardless of what generation their Camaro or car is that will let you take off the heater box to search for a hidden VIN#....On a first gen, I know where to look. Any suggestions where to look for the hidden VIN on a 1970 - 1973 Camaro?
