Is the instrument cluster on a 68 identical to a 67. I.e. speedometer, gas gauge, turn signal indicators, temp lights, etc? I have a 67 RS and found a set of working gauges being parted off a 68. I'd like to stay true to the 67 "theme" if possible.

The 68 gauges have a different appearance, with brushed silver centers vs. all black fro 67 gauges. The lens is also different; 67 has a cone shape vs. a more flat lens in 68. I'm fairly certain that the printed circuit board (PCB) is the same for all 67 and 68 without tach.

According to NPD, the bezel is the same for a 67 and 68. The clear cover is different. The 67 uses a "HIGH CONE" where the 68 uses a "LOW CONE". The gauges are different also. The 67 uses all black gauges where the 68 uses a black and silver face gauge. As far as the "PCB", the 67/68 without tach=same PCB. 68 with tach different. Hope this helps.
