I saw a link somewhere that took me to a website of a company that produces repo door sill plates that looked fantastic. I tried to search for it on here but couldn't find it. Can anyone hrlp?

Thanks

Most all the parts houses have them...I got mine from Rick's...They actually still offer the original GM one's...here's links to both:

GM @ $69.99

You can buy them from GMpartsdirect.com, too. (or your local Chevy dealer) I took an old beat up pair of sills, and salvaged the rivets from the logo plate by grinding from the back. I then carefully drilled the new ones and epoxied the rivets (again from the back) That way, the rivets have the little crescent tool marks found on most original rivets. You can do the same thing with a round head brad, but I don't think it looks as good.

You can also buy those at Firewheell Classics. We have the Gm, Repro, and also the Carbon fiber. Call Patti at 1-800-711-0125 or look it up on the web @ www.firewheelclassics.com

Wow!
A bit too blingy for my taste, but i'm sure on the right car those sure would look sharp.

Wow! Those are shiney all right! And they look nothing like the originals - but maybe that's the point.

I haven't looked at mine lately but I think they look like those but need to be polished. I did notice the lack of rivets in the Body by Fisher emblem.

While I have my sill plates off, I spent an hour or so on each one with my "mag polish" and wow do they come up nice.
They look like chrome & personally, I love them.
