Since you're going with the original color, I'd go with an original color for the stripes. Black or white. I'm not sure how the good silver would look. What color is the interior? Does the car have a vinyl top? A lot of painters out there give opinions on what they like or think will look good. It's your car, you're paying. Thank him for his input, but have him paint it they way you want it. Just my 2 cents.

First, welcome to Team Camaro!
Second, the painter may have recommended the silver to give more contrast and make the stripes pop. Tahoe is a fairly dark color. I will search the photos I have to see if I have any TT with black stripes.

I would go with white stripes on that colour, which would also be original looking.

Unfortuneately I have no pictures with the Z stripes.
Eric Kammerer Sep 27th, 07, 07:02 AM Some TT with gold Z stripes in this thread, plus a link to a Toranado that shows TT in different lights. You can see that black wouldn't show really well, but maybe subtle is what you're after.

deejaygee Sep 28th, 07, 01:46 AM Factory used white stripes for this Tahoe Turquoise 67 Z:

PROZ11 Sep 28th, 07, 05:31 AM The white would be more "in your face" since TT is pretty dark. I kinda like the way it looks in the above pictures. The black would be more suttle over the TT. It would go nice with the black interior though. Tough one.
