Yeah

My buddy built one out of a 32 Chevy sedan. Sits whaaay down on a modern custom frame with our heads almost out of the soft top "hole". A retired southwest touring race car small block made for some awesome acceleration...

Mike,
Do you know if he has the front sheet metal? Just what I need another project, LOL. That is a very cool looking car. I would have a hard time getting there by today though. Do you know this car or did you just see the ad?

Heres a couple of shots of my friends rat rod sedan (had a firewall trimtag in '32 still in tact)-we had a couple of beers in his shop last nite... Its amazing how light these cars are with just a shell sitting on a chassis. Best to keep them upright!

The last pic is his WWII halftrack project which will feature two blown BBC. This beast is under construction with motors just set (no blowers yet). The aft end received a dumptruck rear half donation to get rid of the tracks. One motor will drive each axle. Will have a vintage Browning machine gun (barrel welded shut) mounted above windshield- show display only to keep the CHP from getting nervous.

I didn't get to see it either, but I want it:)

My ZZ4 would be great in a ratrod.

I'm gonna get me a ratrod someday, soon as I finish up about a million other things:)

I have not seen the car, just the ad. I cant get my mind off of it, but I am paying for my daughters college so I better regroup my thoughts.

i didn't get to see the car in the link, but i've been pondering doing something with the '36 Chev 2 door sedan that sat out in the pasture on it's roof for over 35 years. my brother and i flipped it over last summer, and it came over pretty much intact. most of the roof is now part of the earth, but the frame is perfect, the doors open and close, and every piece of sheetmetal is there except for the trunk lid.
i keep trying to envision what it would look like with no roof, and wondering how hard it would be to find a roof to put back on it..

I started looking at ratrods on ebay last night after this thread reminded me I want one:D. I got the hots now.

I want one that has a shot or no engine, but most of the body is good enough to go. I'm not big on perfect body and interior either. Ratrod= ruff and gruff, to me

How much should I figger on spending?
