I have a '68 'vert and am looking for both dash and door grab handles
(AIM calls them Assist Grip Handle).

Dash - My old dash handle is pretty bad and I'm looking for a new one. TC research says the '69 dash handle is actually longer than the '68. Lots of places sell the '69 dash handle, but I can't find the shorter '68 dash handle?

Any suggestions on where to get a black dash handle for a '68?

Door - My '68 has Pearl Parchment Deluxe interior. I bought the Pearl Parchment panels and seat covers from PUI, but the closest door handle is a '69 white? Whiet doesn't look right.

Any suggestions on where I can find 2 new Pearl Parchment door grab handles?

If you find a 68 dash grab bar and the bezels let me know. I'm in the same boat.

If not I'm going with a firebird setup.

I've setup some Ebay search/alerts and while I'm waiting....

Rudy at Steve'sCamaroParts said people were using '69 handles and moving the holes out about 1/2" on each side.
He said the '69 grab bezels look a little different, but will cover the original '68 dash holes?

Has anyone here every heard of this, seen this, or actually done this yourself.?

I'd like to compare the shape, length, bezel, and texture.

I'm just using a 68 firebird handle and bezel. If they ever make a repro of the correct one I can just remove what I have and use the same holes and mount the correct one.
