Hey Guys just wanted to pass along some notes about a new metal polish I found on the internet.
I do alot of metal polishing for my friends and my own car so I have tried pretty much every product commercially available. I was searching one night on the net and came across a website that claimed to provide the shine on aluminum that you see on those high dollar tractor tailers and dump bodies. I gambled and ordered a bottle. It showed up in two days and let me tell you this stuff is nothing short of amazing!!! I tried it on my weld wheels that are a bitch to bring up a good shine on. It took three minutes to apply the polish and about one minute to wipe it off. The results were night and day. The name of the product is Mr. Buffer and comes as a liquid in a squeeze bottle. You can get some at www.mrbuffer.com (http://www.mrbuffer.com) I have tried Magic Mix, Mothers, Eagle one, Never Dull and many more but none worked this easy and provided such great results. Let me know of your findings.

I use a product called Heavy Metal Polish. It works wonders also and after it cleans, it leaves a light wax coating, which slows the oxidation. I used it on the valve covers on the 93 Z which I drive alot and they get water spots on them. I use the polish and the spots are gone almost instantly. No elbow grease required. www.heavymetalpolish.com (http://www.heavymetalpolish.com)

Got it, tried it, I think it's pretty good stuff, easy on, easy off, helped to get rid of that cloudy finish on two of my ralley rings. Also shined up my window trim. I like the stuff. Thanks for the tip...Mike

I'm another sucker who bought a bottle after reading this post, and I'm glad I did. It did a great job on my aluminum valve covers, much better than the Mother's that I tried. I also used it on my basically brand new Torque Thrust II wheels and it made them look even better. Good stuff, thanks for the heads up graemlins/hurray.gif

I got mine... not that impressed with it.

Best thing that I found was at Lowes... bronze polish... says specifically not to use it on aluminum... but it works great to get oxidation off (restrict yourself to small areas at a time because it is apparently slightly acidic).
