Some of the better stuff will stick to different types of metal.. such as aluminum

They suggest not to use the lower quality stuff on aluminum.. Or even galvanized.

In many cases your probably correct..

i use evercoat's Z-grip bodyfiller. It's light years ahead of bondo brand garbage. You will never go back to anything else. It's THAT much better.

They also have a product called Evercoat Body Icing that is great for finishing work.

This is one of those cases where it's worth it to buy the good stuff.

I second the evercoat. I when I used Rage for the first time I couldnt believe the diff. Night and day.

I use z-grip and its easier to sand then bondo. I remember when I use to use bondo I would be changing paper all the time because the resin would build up and not want to come off. Now I can just brush off any build up that happens ont he paper. I love not changing sand paper. Don't know about the premium stuff, never used.
