Hi all,

I finally have my car all done except for body and paint. Imagine my surprise when I went for some bc/cc to color match and was told that no one make a formula for gg, ash gold metalic. Does anyone have a correct formula or even one that is close??

The PPG code is 22942 for GG Ash Gold. This is the same color as my car. Mine is original and has not been painted. I hope when I go to have it painted I don't have a problem finding this color. Hopefully PPG can help you.

Yeah, I did find that code. PPG tells me that they can only make that color in their "cheap base" and that I would be better off finding a code for their better base. In the better base, the color cross is a "best possible match" "complete paint only" "yellower than original". And it is a Ford color to boot!!
