I changed out my 2" dropped spindle disc's to a new CPP setup that has drilled and slotted rotor's.When I get on the brakes I can feel them through the car and the wheel. Was I supposed to turn the rotors first? I have only put a couple miles on it and they stop good but its like warped rotors? Is this normal for drilled and slotted rotors?

i converted to the CPP 13" drilled/slotted rotor and they feel very smooth. check the alignment of the rotor to the caliper.
Although, I had to shim my rears (so pads would hit the rotor squarely) as well as grind some metal off the inner ends of the calipers (rotor were rubbing)

If you have a dial indicator, check the runout of the rotors, should be less than .006".

Did you clean the rotors to get off the oil coating they ship them with?

I drove my wife's 73 Camaro after we installed the new 13" "Track" kit. I was horrified the pedal vibrated so much!
It all went away within 100 miles, can't feel it at all now. I was ready to take them off at first.

Thanks guys...I called CPP they said no need to turn them and told me to stomp on the brakes a couple 3 times to seat them.I already took them apart to inspect, everything looks good.I give it a try tonight...
