Haven't used the duplicolor yet, but it is just a standard quick drying Lacquer paint. You don't see lacquer used much anymore but we painted my dad's car with it and put on about 4 or 5 coats and color sanded it and buffed it and it looks good.

i have been considering it for my 67. I used laquer on my 79 TA in high school and found it to be a very forgiving paint. By this I mean if your not a pro, runs and such can be wet sanded out with ease. Me being a little scared of mixing high dollar paint, makes it even more attractive. I'm not building a show car either, so I'm not so sure I want to invest in the high end products on my personal car just to have them scratched at the local drive in or at the rack. If you do decided to try it keep us up to date on how it works. Good Luck.
